I agree with Rick Anderson's perspective on Library 2.0 - Away from the "icebergs". We do need to start changing now so we're not ages behind in a couple of years.
Heck, at this rate, books will soon be obsolete relics like the abacus! With all the books on CD/MP3/DVD and the new Kindles coming out, why would anyone want to lug around 10 pounds of paper for entertainment?
