Thing 13 - Tagging and Discovering Del.icio.us

I might have our students start at Del.icio.us for their next research project. I'll have to see what their comments are to see where to go from there. I know they don't like using the Library Resources page. (I think the layout is a huge drawback there - WAY too cluttered.)

I have not yet linked my blog to any other blog. I think I'll try that next - if I can find something I like.

OOO them's fightin' words! Really, my elementary kids can find what they need on the Library Resources Page because they've had someone show them. My teachers know where to look for what they want - it just takes taking the time to realize what can be useful to you and ignoring the rest. But everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Compare SBISD's website to other library websites. Ours looks VERY cluttered! If someone would clean it up - make each topic on the left a header and have drop-down lists with the rest - it would make it much less overwhelming when you first look at it.
